Finlayson-Pitts to speak at NAS event

AirUCI Director Barbara Finlayson-Pitts has served for the past year as Co-Chair of the National Academies of Science committee that gathered input, studied the state of atmospheric chemistry research, and wrote the report for NAS.  She will speak on Friday, August 26, 2017 from 11:00-12:00 EDT in Washington D.C. at the release event for this new Academies’ report, The Future of Atmospheric Chemistry Research: Remembering Yesterday, Understanding Today, Anticipating Tomorrow.  Download the report PDF
 
Using input gathered from the scientific community, the report identifies priorities, areas of research, and strategic steps forward for atmospheric chemistry research over the next decade.  Speakers at this report release also include co-chair Robert Duce, Texas A&M University-College Station and committee member, William Brune, Pennsylvania State University.
