Hoffman wins NSF fellowship

In the stiff competition for graduate research fellowships from the National Science Foundation this spring, AirUCI's Alicia Hoffman of the Blake research group received one of these coveted awards.  Hayley Glicker, grad student in the James Smith group, received an honorable mention. The competitive NSF fellowship acknowledges graduate and senior undergraduate students who have demonstrated potential for significant research achievements and broad societal impacts.
