On December 7-8, AirUCI will host a visit from Prof. Lidia Morawska, Distinguished Professor and Australian Laureate Fellow in the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Australia. She is noted as the scientist who shared her research findings with WHO and government health agencies worldwide that the COVID virus was transmitted through breathing. On October 13th, AirUCI faculty Manabu Shiraiwa will host a visit by a delegation from the Japanese Automobile Manufacturers Association. They will meet with additional AirUCI faculty to exchange information on traffic emissions and air quality research. The visitors are Dr. Keiko Shibata (JAMA, Isuzu); Mr. Takuya Ikeda (JAMA, Nissan); Mr. Naoki Konishsi (JAMA, Isuzu); and Dr. Tsuyoshi Ito (Japan Automobile Research Institute; JARI).
