AirUCI launches EACCO
NOTE: This page will be updated with new EACCO talks for the 2017-2018 school year as they are scheduled.
AirUCI has initiated a career seminar series called EACCO (Exposure to Advanced Chemistry Career Opportunities) in which past graduate students and post-doctoral researchers are returning to UCI (in person or via Skype) to share their career experiences and opportunities to benefit current graduate students and post-docs. Returning PhD chemists and engineers are currently employed in several areas, including federal and state air quality and energy regulatory agencies, private industry, and applied research, as faculty researchers and professors, and as primarily undergraduate faculty members in educational settings.
Our intent is to provide current graduate students and post-docs with information, inspiration, and voices of experience to encourage exploration of career options that may be "out of the box" and not readily apparent in their education. We have two seminars scheduled to date -- May 12 and May 27, 2016 -- and others are in the works. Details will be made available for each seminar as they firm up, so check our Events page frequently for upcoming EACCO seminars.
