Alvaro Osornio Vargas meeting

AirUCI faculty Andrea De Vizcaya Ruiz is organizing a meeting on May 2nd with Prof. Emeritus Alvaro Osornio Vargas of the University of Alberta, Canada, to discuss our research related to the environmental impact and health in Madison Park and Santa Ana.  Our collaborators from Green-MPNA, EcoGov Lab, and APHEL will attend along with several AirUCI faculty and researchers.  Presentations will be followed by a discussion on interdisciplinarity and our experiences as scientists from different disciplines partnering with an EJ organization.  Prof. Osornio Vargas' extensive experience in air pollution and health studies is expected to inspire new directions in our ongoing projects.
