Tour for Moreno Valley College TRIO ACES students

On July 24th AirUCI hosted 10 community college students and 2 staff members from Moreno Valley College's TRIO Academic Counseling and Educational Support (ACES) program.  The group visited 4 AirUCI labs, with each lab tour including presentations by AirUCI researchers and hands-on demonstrations.  Following the tours, a panel of AirUCI researchers answered questions from the students. 

The event was a great success, with one of the staff members later commenting, "Thank you for such an amazing time with AirUCI on Thursday!  The students and I LOVED it!  Such an amazing experience to expose them to research and other education opportunities...Very memorable and moving!  Our students connected so well with everyone, especially the students in AirUCI.  I'm hopeful we can bring another group of students at a later date to [keep the] momentum going."
