AirUCI researcher wins Lee Dinner awards

The UCI Chemistry Department hosted the annual Edward K.C. Lee dinner on May 30, 2013 on campus.  AirUCI researcher Jefferson Bates of the Furche research group was co-recipient of two prestigious awards that evening: the Smitrovich Award and the Edward K.C. Lee Award -- way to go, Jefferson!

The Gebel Award, bestowed in memory of Mike Gebel who was a researcher in the Finlayson-Pitts group, was presented this year to Jan Moritz Limpinsel of the Law research group, and to Aaron George Johnson of the Jarvo research group.  Congratulations, all!
