AirUCI team members were honored with prestigious awards at the annual E.K.C. Lee Dinner held on campus May 31, 2012. AirUCI's Amanda MacMillan received the Michael Gebel Award and Tran Nguyen received the E.K.C. Lee Award. Both are graduate students in the Nizkorodov group. It was also announced at the dinner that AirUCI PI Sergey Nizkorodov received this year's UCI Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Fostering Undergraduate Research. Congratulations, all!

2012
On May 30th, 2012 AirUCI will welcome students from Godinez Fundamental High School in Santa Ana as they tour our labs and hear presentations about our research.
On May 24, 2012 AirUCI will sponsor the high school awards dinner for the Orange County section of the American Chemical Society on campus, with keynote address by AirUCI's Barbara Finlayson-Pitts. Scores of students are honored at this annual event, and we wish them the best as they continue their studies.
On May 21, 2012, AirUCI researchers Scott Epstein, Jeff Ngarmboonta, and Sandra Blair will give presentations for Chemistry classes at Capistrano Valley High School in Mission Viejo, California.
On May 15th, 2012, Dr. Scott Epstein of AirUCI will give presentations on our research to students, staff, and parents at Buena Park Jr. High School's Science Night.
Science students from NOVA Early College High School in Santa Ana will tour our labs and hear presentations about our research on May 11, 2012.
