AirUCI PIs Sergey Nizkorodov and Eric Saltzman are organizing this conference in conjunction with the California Air Resources Board. The main goal of the event is to share scientific knowledge and foster collaborations between research communities and air pollution management agencies in Southern California.

AirUCI's 7th annual science workshop will be held at the Surf and Sand Hotel in Laguna Beach, California on January 19-20, 2010.  Invited speakers and AirUCI researchers will give presentations on the latest findings in chemistry in the atmosphere and at interfaces.

AirUCI hosted a talk by Dr. Tadeusz E. Kleindienst, research scientist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, on June 3, 2010 entitled "Use of Molecular Tracers for Estimating Secondary Organic Aerosol Concentrations in Sub-Micron Particulate Matter".

This event allowed ORU team members to review the research being conducted by the diverse groups and develop additional collaborative projects.
