AirUCI's AAAR student chapter will be hosting an Alumni Q&A Panel on Thursday, March 3rd from 10:30 - noon.  This should be a lively discussion featuring AirUCI's very own Drs. Sabrina Chee, Amy Christiansen, and Wing-Sy DeRieux! They will discuss their respective post-PhD career experiences, and will be happy to take questions. On February 14, as part of AirUCI's DOJ research project, the Blake lab hosted workers from Kingston, a company in Santa Ana where the indoor air quality has been in question.  They were shown how the researchers collect, measure, and analyze the composition of air — from gases to microscopic particles.

AirUCI Fulbright Fellow Patrick Ayotte (Universite de Sherbrooke, Quebec) will present a Physical Chemistry lecture on Tuesday, February 1st at 3:30 pm.  This will be a hybrid event on Livestream and based in ISEB room 1010 (masks required).  His talk is entitled "Shining light, and beams of molecules, to look at (Photo)chemistry on ice."  Details         Livestream Link

Prof. Jason S. Olfert from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta will give a seminar hosted by AirUCI on Wednesday, December 22, 12 at noon.  The lecture will be held in Rowland Hall room 390 and on Zoom (Zoom info will be sent closer to the date) and is entitled  "Beyond particle mobility classifiers: Classifying particles by mass or relaxation time".
