AirUCI PI Robert Phalen is among the organizers of the Sustainable Goods Movement Symposium to be held November 21-22, 2013 in Palm Desert, CA and hosted by the Palm Springs Institute for Environmental Sustainability. Speakers from various Southern California universities, the Port of Long Beach, AQMD, and private industry will give presentations. On October 8, 2013, AirUCI will host Dr. Jozef Lengyel from the J. Herovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry -- of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic -- who will be presenting a seminar entitled "Aerosols in molecular beams: nucleation and reactivity." The talk will begin at noon in Rowland Hall 390.

AirUCI will host a lecture by Dr. Anne Monod of Aix-Marseille University, Laboratoire de Chimie de l’Environnement, CNRS in Marseille, France (and currently a CIRES visiting fellow at University of Colorado, Boulder).
