AirUCI will host Dr. Liz Warren, an expert on the International Space Station, on February 19th at 10 am in Rowland Hall 390. She will speak to our researchers about opportunities to conduct studies in space as part of outreach efforts for NASA's 2014 Destination Station national awareness campaign in the Los Angeles area. Astronaut Tracy Caldwell Dyson will give a public presentation at 7 pm on Tuesday, February 18th at the Beckman Auditorium on campus. A postdoctoral researcher with AirUCI Director Barbara Finlayson-Pitts and co-Director John Hemminger, Dr. Caldwell Dyson was conducting research here when she learned that she had been accepted into the astronaut corps.
